Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Syndicate 11 collects, uses, discloses, and protects information from visitors, applicants, members, partners, and event attendees. It is written to be readable, but may not describe every circumstance in which information is processed. If you have a specific concern about your information, contact us at membership@syndicate11.co.
1. Who we are
Syndicate 11 ("Syndicate 11," "we," "us," or "our") operates:
- The website syndicate11.co, referred to as the "Site."
- The associated members application at app.syndicate11.co, referred to as the "Members App."
- Related membership, event, communications, community, and partnership services, collectively referred to as the "Services."
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Application and vetting information — your name, email address, mobile phone number, social-media handles, professional background, follower and audience metrics, references, interview notes, and materials you choose to share during the membership application and interview process.
- Membership information — profile details, account information, network preferences, communications with us, membership status, introductions, and RSVPs to member events.
- SMS data and consent records — if you provide a mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS messages, we may collect your mobile phone number together with records relating to your consent, including the date, time, consent language, consent source, and, where available, the IP address associated with your opt-in. We may also maintain records of messages sent, delivery status, responses, HELP requests, and opt-out requests.
- Event information and content — event registrations, attendance information, preferences, photographs, video, and audio captured at Syndicate 11 events and experiences.
- Inquiries and contact submissions — the name, email address, inquiry type, company information, and message you submit through the Site or otherwise send to us.
- Automatic and technical information — device type, browser, operating system, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, cookies, and analytics information used to operate, secure, and understand the Services.
- Payment information — where payments apply, payment information is processed by third-party payment providers. Syndicate 11 does not ordinarily store full payment-card numbers.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- Evaluate applications and administer membership.
- Operate, authenticate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site and Members App.
- Create and maintain member profiles and accounts.
- Facilitate introductions, collaborations, opportunities, events, and partnerships.
- Manage event invitations, registrations, approvals, attendance, waitlists, reminders, and follow-up communications.
- Communicate with you about membership, inquiries, programming, events, and Services.
- Send SMS messages that you have expressly agreed to receive, including event invitations, RSVP confirmations, waitlist notifications, event reminders, membership updates, and account notifications.
- Respond to HELP requests and process STOP or other opt-out requests.
- Prevent misuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.

4. SMS messaging and your choices
Syndicate 11 sends SMS messages only where the recipient has provided the required consent or where another lawful basis permits the communication.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of Syndicate 11 SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may receive one final message confirming that your request has been processed.
For assistance, reply HELP or contact membership@syndicate11.co.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
For additional details, see our SMS Messaging Terms.
5. Confidentiality of the network
Syndicate 11 is a private, application- and invitation-based network.
Members are expected to keep member identities, private communications, non-public contact information, and confidential event details private.
We do not publicly publish our complete membership roster.
6. Sharing of information
We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — vendors that help us operate the Services, such as hosting providers, application infrastructure providers, authentication services, email providers, messaging platforms, telecommunications carriers, analytics providers, security providers, and payment processors. These providers may use the information only as necessary to provide services to Syndicate 11 and subject to appropriate contractual or confidentiality restrictions.
- Member introductions and partner opportunities — we may share relevant profile or contact information with members, brands, partners, venues, or other parties where you have requested, accepted, or expressly opted in to an introduction, collaboration, event, or opportunity.
- Legal and safety purposes — where reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or lawful government requests; enforce our agreements; detect or prevent fraud or security incidents; or protect the rights, safety, and property of Syndicate 11, our members, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.
SMS-specific restriction. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information may be disclosed to messaging platform providers, telecommunications carriers, and other service providers solely as necessary to operate, deliver, secure, and support the Syndicate 11 messaging program.
All categories of disclosure described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent where the recipient would use that information for its own marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Photography, video and content capture at events
Syndicate 11 events are private. We may capture photographs, video, or audio at events for private community purposes and, in select cases, for Syndicate 11 promotional use on our owned channels. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice that content capture is occurring.
If you prefer not to appear in event content, notify an event host on arrival or contact membership@syndicate11.co. We will make reasonable efforts to exclude or remove your likeness from content distributed by Syndicate 11, although removal may not always be possible after publication or where third parties independently captured the content.
Paid brand-campaign use or other materially separate commercial use may be governed by an event release, talent agreement, campaign agreement, or other authorization.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use a limited number of first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep the Services operating.
- Maintain security.

Retention periods may depend on the type of information, our operational requirements, applicable limitation periods, dispute-resolution needs, legal obligations, and security considerations.
We may retain records of SMS consent and opt-out requests for compliance and suppression purposes, including after you unsubscribe.
